Recent trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee

I have been going through my photos, and have discovered a great deal of photos that I have not blogged about.  I mean we have a pretty good life here, and my little kiddos are growing right up before my eyes!  I thought I would do a little retro blogging of what we have been doing in the last few months!  This blog is not only for my friends and family, but, also for me as a little scrapbook of our lives!

Here is the first post of our recent fun things we have done in the last little while, complete with pictures!

In May, Bus and I took a little trip to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.  We rented a wonderful cabin, and planned a special time with just the two of us.  Well, as life would have it, we ended up having the kids with us, and we made the most of an amazing weekend!!

We had a great time hanging out in the cabin playing pool, ping pong, and foozball, but the favorite thing of all was the day we went to the mini amuzement park for the kids!

Just read the most beautiful email!!

My cousin's husband is in remission from cancer!!  I am sooooooooo happy for them, as my cousin's sister died a few years back from cancer.  There is not a day that goes by that we don't think of Angela, and I know that she is smiling down from heaven for Kevin!  We love you guys, and can't be more happy for you!!!!!

It is so hard for me to believe that my little baby is no longer going to be in elementary school. :O(  She is such a big girl now, and such a shining star, that it should not surprise me that she blew away the gymnasium full of graduating 5th graders, their parents, grandparents, and teachers with a song that she ended up singing with no background music!  She practiced all weekend with her karaoke cd, and when it was time to sing at the ceremony, there was nothing to play it on.  Instead of sitting down, and bowing out of singing, she charged the mic, and blew us all away with her performance!  I was sooooo proud of her, as she never skipped a beat, as she took on the mic, and never let anyone see her sweat!

It has been awhile since I have done FFF, or updated my blog at all!  It has been crazy over the last few weeks, but, now, I am hoping to get back on track, just as summer starts!  I have been taking plenty of pictures, and haven't shared them, so I will have to go back and see what I can find! :O)

In September, my Mom and Dad will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary! I asked them if I could take them out for a few pictures, and here is what I got!

Crazy March day!

I have to laugh when I think about the old saying of March, "In like a lion, out like a lamb"....well...I think that just about sums up this whole crazy weathered winter! We have had lions and lambs all winter long-seems there have been more lions, or should we say bears?! Ha ha! I, for one, am happy to see the weather a'changin again! :O) Perhaps it will get warm, and stay warm!!

FFF-"Favorite February Foto"-It's a dog's life!

That is exactly what I think this picture is saying! Tough to sit around and sleep all day, and then when he goes outside- run around the back yard and bark at everything that moves! Good thing he is so cute!

I took a lot of pictures in February, but, not many of the kids-so, I thought it would be fun to show you one of our furbabies! This is Bob-our tiny 125 pound yellow lab! Doesn't he look cozy?!

Funny that I chose Sofia for this weeks FFF, again.  But, look at this picture, and tell me that it is NOT silly! Ha ha!  Like I said in the title, "Flock of Seagulls" silly!  ;O)

Love this little one's silly personality!  She brightens our day so very often!

(NO-she is NOT potty training-she sit there for 1/2 an hour, and NOTHING!  Put her diaper back on, and instant pee! UGH!!  She is no hurry to rid of the diaper!)
