Birthdays are buzzing around here!!

The months of August, September, and October are crazy with birthdays around here!  It has been a hard birthday season, so, we decided that we would celebrate each birthday with just our little family, and then have one big celebration to celebrate the 3 birthdays all at once.  So, we have celebrated 2 so far, and here they are:

Caleb's birthday was on August 24, and he turned
4 years old!  Hard to imagine my little sweetie came home when he was 6 months old!

Then, on September 13, Miss Maya turned 5!  She was
so excited it was her birthday, she told EVERYBODY
she came in contact with!

Sofia's birthday is in October, but, we hope to have the big celebration before then!

Sweetest Sofia

While we were in Florida in August, we paid to have beach pictures taken.  Sofia would not look at the photographer, and when she did she would grimace at her, or cry.  So, I decided to take a few pics to renew my faith in her ability to smile for the camera!  These photos were taken in the front yard, and only took me a few minutes to see the sweetness, and silliness melt right out of her!  (I made this tu tu last winter, and finally took it out of the closet for pictures!)

This photo is one of the last I took of her this day!  She was getting so silly, I had to give up!  I think it is adorable anyway.

Sweet!

Cheese!

So pretty in Pink!

Stinker!!!

Wonder what she is dreaming of here?

If I run, she can't take any more pictures of me-she
can't keep up with me!!!

Oh, so pouty!

Seriously, no more pictures!!

Wacky & Wordless Wednesday!!

MIA-sorry, hoping to do better.

Wow!  I am ashamed to say that it has been over 2 months since I have posted here! :O(  I am a bad Mommy blogger!   I will admit, life has taken unexpected twists, and my world has been rocked. I will try to do better-if not for me, for my kids.

Many of you already know, that my Mom was diagnosed with lung cancer the middle of July.  It has been a very scary, and heart wrenching time.  She is doing ok, but, all prayers are so appreciated!

She has been through one round of chemo, and is scheduled to start another round in about a week and a half.  The first one almost wiped her out, and there were many days that she could not get out of bed.  After a brief hospitalization for an infection, and a blood trasfusion, she is back home, and starting to feel a little bit better.  It is hard, so hard, as anyone knows, who has been touched by cancer.  I would love to have you pray for her, when you can.
